Morris Chair & Footrest Combo Plans Pack The chair has wide, bow arms and the back adjusts to 3 different positions. The Morris Chair first became popular in the early 1900's and is associated with the Arts & Crafts style movement. Overall size: 33" wide, 38-1/2" high, 33-5/8" deep. There is no instruction for upholstering, so that will be up to you. After all the time you spend on woodworking, we recommend you take your new masterpiece to an upholstery shop for finishing. The plans take care of every detail of the wood frame, though, and is great for the intermediate woodworker. We have a footrest plan which matches this Morris Chair, too, which should not be missed. The footrest plan matches our Morris Chair. Build both and relax in comfort while you take stock in your woodworking skills. Arts & Crafts project is relatively easy to make and will nicely accent any similarly styled chair. Top area is 15" by 19", height is 15-1/4". The cushion shown is a slip seat with a box edge. There is no instruction for upholstering, so that will be up to you, but the plans take care of every detail of the wood frame.
