Morris Chair Plans

This plan is presented in response to a number of requests for a Morris Chair which can be made in home workshops.  The chair has wide, bow arms and the back adjusts to 3 different positions.  The Morris Chair first became popular in the early 1900's and is associated with the Arts & Crafts style movement.  Overall size:  33" wide, 38-1/2" high, 33-5/8" deep.  There is no instruction for upholstering, so that will be up to you.  After all the time you spend on woodworking, we recommend you take your new masterpiece to an upholstery shop for finishing.  The plans take care of every detail of the wood frame, though, and is great for the intermediate woodworker.  We have a footrest plan which matches this Morris Chair, too, which should not be missed.  A superb, authentic project.

Buy the Chair and Footrest Combo and save $3.
