Library book stand plans for lecturn woodworking project
This stately 35-1/2" high piece is designed with two fixed 13" deep by 21" wide shelves for displaying books, storing papers, or for other accessories.  Notched boards under the lectern top receive pawls which allow adjustment from flat to three angles of pitch for a dictionary or reference book.  A handsome project for the woodworker, featuring turned posts for the lathe enthusiast.  No lathe?  Make the legs square or tapered -- any way you cut it, this is an awesome build.  Great project for the study.
