French Colonial Baby Cradle Plans This unique cradle (or berceau) was fashioned after one found in St.Genevieve, Missouri, the first pioneer settlement on the west bank of the Mississippi River. The cradle, with curved rockers, can be lifted from its stand for rocking on the floor or be left in place to swing from sturdy hardware mounted on beautifully turned posts. The spacing of the spindles meets federal safety requirements. Sure to become an heirloom of the highest order. Size is 42" long, by 33-1/2" high, by 26" wide. A motivated dad or grand dad who is a beginner can most likely eek this project out nicely, but those of you at the intermediate or expert level will have no problems at all. It's really a neat project that has great heirloom potential. #FD-708 French Baby Cradle Plans . . . $14.oo |
