Shaker trestle dining table plan for woodworking
We have suggested the use of a framed 3/4" hardwood plywood top on this 34" deep, 72" wide, and 29" high table -- the plywood top option will simulate the thick planking which is otherwise necessary for such a large surface.  A "thumb molding" is shown for the table edges along with "bread-board" end battens, both typical Shaker features found on authentic pieces.
