Shaker bench and stool plans for woodworking
Two easy-to-make Shaker pieces for the beginner or expert.  The Hancock Bench with butterfly-wing supports is 9-1/2" wide by 32-1/4" long, 16" high.  The 12" high Sewing Step Chest (lower right) is a design from New England with a 6" high step.  A small storage compartment is incorporated into the hinged top step.  The 14-1/4" wide step is to elevate the knee to make hand sewing easier.
