Sewing machine cabinet plans and desk plan for woodworking

Sewing machine cabinet is a practical and beautiful piece of furniture that can double as a writing desk.  The 13" wide, 14-1/4 high, by 17-3/8" deep storage compartment (shown here with the panel door open) holds most makes of sewing machines easily.  The double thick top folds open to provide a roomy 20" by 78" working space for when it's time to sew.  A well you can cut in the top surface allows the machine to be flush with the working surface of the cabinet if you so desire.  Use this 20" deep, by 39" wide, by 30" high cabinet with our plan #FD-193 sewing storage box for a complete sewing center.
