Captain Bed Plans This plan is offered in response to numerous requests.  Sometimes called a storage bed, it converts unused space under the bed into storage drawers. The headboard and footboard are designed to be built separately and can be bolted to either end of the rail/drawer assembly so that the drawers can be on either side of the bed, depending on your desired room arrangement.
