Butler table plan for woodworking
Here is a great piece of period furniture for any living room.  The easy to build, traditional framing of the table top enhances the natural beauty of the wood by causing grain direction to play.  This type of table was commonly made of walnut or mahogany.  The distinctive crossed stretchers, corner brackets and brass hinges are traditional of this style.  Table height is 17-1/8".  With the leaves extended, the table is 30" deep by 43" wide -- leaves down, it's 21" by 33".
