Canopy Bed Plans Here is a project worthy of any woodworker's talents. The canopy bed was carefully researched to embody all the features desired in a Colonial piece. Even the blanket rail found on many Colonial beds has been included. The posts are designed to be turned in sections in order to fit in the average home lathe. It may be made as either a twin or full size bed and the plan even includes full size templates for the arched canopy frame.
