Spindle chair plan for side dining chair plans
A scooped seat chair for use with a Trestle Desk or Drop Leaf Table.  The graceful turnings are sturdy and combine to make a particularly satisfying design.  An ideal project for the woodworker who loves turning, as it requires a number of hours at the lathe.  The boring angles are shown clearly and the scooped seat is formed with gouge, inshave, and by sanding.  Seat height is 18".  Overall dimensions: 18-1/2" wide, 18-5/8" deep, and 32-3/4" high.  Also goes with dining table plans #188 and #189.
